I downloaded a free shopping app to use; so far I've added stuff to it, and it allows me to list coupons with the items. It also has an option to choose if that item is taxable as well.

It's pretty basic, but that is literally all I want so I can get an exact calculation to plan my shop.

If I want to spend $$ it has a barcode scanner in the upgraded version, but I want to see what the free version is like first before I spend the money on the full version.

Let me fire up itunes & check the name lol

Ok it's called Shopper Free - you will need to go into it's settings & set the tax rate, also, the default lists on it are useless (to me), so I simply emptied those & did my own list for groceries. There are things that you will want to add of course, but everything can be configured, you just have to play in it.

1st & 2nd Reception (food & household, Health & Beauty, gift sets) - hubby & 9 year old son are cart pushers

Hubby runs home to empty out truck while we do round #3....

3rd - just my nine year old son (hubby wants a blu ray player for our room & a new wii controller for Xmas lol)

Nine year old is going Xmas showing with my father in law at the mall across the road at 10am (hes picking him up at SDM!)

4th - my mother in law is my cart pushers ( toys, stocking stuff, boxed chocolates etc)

A $200 redemption USUALLY takes 3 carts so I am trying to keep things organized so that the bigger ticket items take the lest carts! lol.
Sorry if I totally misunderstand your plan....but you can only do 2 redemptions in a day. I'd hate for you to get to the checkout and not be able to (unless your hubby has a card)

Oh, and can I just mention that I an **INSANELY*** jealous of you girls with 4* $250 redemptions!!! I am excited about my 1, I can't imagine having $1000 to spend

Ha. Ha. My DH is the same way sometimes. I just wish they had an iphone. He gave me his darn list of what to redeem for some Bic pens and some Sharpies, along with some Sun-Rype Peach Mango juice & Demptster whole grain bread. I just laughed so hard at his list & said basically don't waste my pts on this type of stuff as most of these items are much, much cheaper at WM or RCSS. At least I'll get the bread as it'll be on sale that weekend. What to buy? What do buy? Can do 3 full redemptions & I'm still stuck with my list. I don't want to waste my points. It looks like I'm going to be stuck redeeming for electronics for one redemption & Chirstmas presents for another redemption. I just might do 2 as I can't come up with a 3rd list & don't have anymore room in the freezer or pantry.

Okay silly question. If I buy jarred or tinned goods or other food items (excl. perishables like dairy & fresh food stuff), would it be safe in terms of food quality/safety wise to put them in my dry storage shed? In BC the temperature can go from plus 5 to minus 10 celcius. Right now, I've got a case of Bush's beans & may have to stick all my canned tomatoes, sauces & tomato paste (darn Con Agra MIR was just too tempting) to find some extra storage in the house.

Since I'm a private pilot, I'm seriously stuggling with the idea of flying over to Ontario, Taking bus or taxi to Hawkesbury or whatever SDM near, buy med (I need cold med), and then come back.
It's my birthday tomorrow so I feel like it's my birthday's gift!

Argh!! My BF would be sooooo happy to FLY me by and back! .... Life is great!

My third redemption is going to be $150 on stocking stuff for my 2 little ones and the rest in groceries.

im not 100% sure how much I will redeem, it all depends on what the store has, which is why I do a pre-shopping list the day before. The good thing this time is I don't want any big ticket items. Here's what I would like:

    Blu-ray movies
Blu-ray player(if it's cheap enuff, just to have an extra one)
    Batman PS3 game
    PS3 remote
LOTS of chocolate(Toblerone mostly, might even get the big 4.5 Kg bar)

I earned $50 in Amazon Gift Cards in my first month at Swagbucks!!

my list is TOO long! I have enough for $375 and I'm around $500 so I'm hoping the rumor of another 20x day on the 10th is true so I can wait and buy the extra $100 or so the next weekend.

    My list is (roughly):
    Olympus tough camera - $160
Sony docking station -$??? I plan on going in the day before to see if it may be one of the 40% off items - not sure if they'll tell me but I'll ask - if not likely will hold off on this
    3 mags for stockings - $18
    calendar for DD - $10
stuffed dog for DD - $25 (yes that's lots, but she fell in love with it on the wknd)
    toque - $10
chocolates for gift baskets for friends - $45
turtles for us - $7 (hopefully find a coupon before then)
    L'oreal everpure - $4 after coupon
clinical deo - $6 after coupon
    Benefibre - $15.50 after coupon
    kids vitamins - $6
kids fever/pain killer of some kind - $5ish
    dandruff shampoo - $12
2 Quo nail polish removers $11
    tide - $3 after coupon
cascade deterg - $5 after coupons
Milk, eggs, cheese, peanut butter, cereal, pasta, hot sauce, nutella, ketchup, froz. pizza
    totalling $70
