Now, lets the game begin. I love it. They really know how to play the game (so far anyway). They know to take the strong one out. It makes the game more challenging and full of surprise like last night.....................................

I have a guilty confession. I almost always watch the episodes a day or two later and read this thread first so I know who's going to be voted out. I like watching knowing which one is doomed.

Voting out Michaela, before the merge prevents her from being on the Jury...smart move for players looking ahead an not wanting to defend themselves against a player with very strong opinions.
Michaela reminded everyone of the merge, and it definitely scared her group straight. I don't think they were really thinking about the merge and power shifts until she brought it up. Once the ball started rolling and the others started thinking about all of the others that she could pull under her wing, they were legitimately scared of her playing power.

We were calling her the MVP, kind of sad to see her go but I wonder if she had been just a little less abrasive and sassy they might have kept her around. The social game is subtle but important.

Ah Dave-its all good! I have watched it both ways and I find I prefer not to know but it is interesting watching how the show is edited when you know who is going ahead of time.

Now I say this as a viewer, and I know the situation would be completely different if I was in Adam's position.
Understandably, Adam may or may not have had the actually piece of parchment with the advantage written on it with him a Tribal. I think since his advantage had been revealed, if he had gone out and showed everyone the actual advantage, and then tossed it in the fire to destroy it 'as a gesture of good faith and trust' he would definitely take the target off of his back. As it stands right now everyone knows that he has it, and will be worried that he may use it against one of them.

I understand there's an argument for and against doing this, but either way it's a huge Social Game move for Adam , whether he decides to use/not use the advantage.

Oh thank goodness Taylor is an arrogant fool. See him at the challenge he was whistling not even looking at the ball erves him right way over confident. I was so scared when Jay didn't use his idol so glad taylor went phew
