does anyone have any imput on this company? does anyone use them?
they have a promo now of sign up to comwave and get 6 months free of home phone service and then after the 6 months you get it for 19.95 on a 3 yr contract ( 2.5 yrs of paying)
it includes unlimited local and long distance calling, call display, call waiting and voicemail...This thread is currently associated with: N/A

You definately can't go wrong with the prices on all these internet phones. However, working as an emergency services dispatcher, if ever you happen to have to dial 911 for some reason or another and are unable to speak...you fell, heart attack, choking etc.. No one would be able to help you unless you have registered your current home address with your phone provider. The process for transferring these types of calls are also a little longer then your traditional 'wired' phone line. Now that's something to think about...
Even worse case scenario, if you have young ones being babysat and the sitter doesn't know the address...I get calls like this almost everyday!! It's very frustrating not to be able to help them quickly.

I use them as my long distance and pay only 1.8 cents per minute. I have had no problems with them whatsoever. Would definitely recommend them. I am considering to change them for long distance for my cell phone. Just have not done it yet.

hi,
my mother in law has changed to them after almost 30+ years with bell. She was paying 49.95 + taxes and other fees totalling around 60 dollars a month for a home phone plan with features, no long distance.
No she pays 30 with tax, and gets to call back home, just adding about 10-15 depending how much she calls. but still its awesome!
I was thinking of changing when I moved, but bell gave me an awesome deal and im happy with that. I would definately consider it though.
They do advertise that they ad match, but when you actually call (i tried this just today) and I gave them companies such as vonage, telehop, acanan and voipgo but they said they didnt match to those companies like wtf? why advertise lol
other then that yeah i would say go for it.Always looking for HV Pampers or Huggies coupons!
