I have enough points for 1 x $250 and 1x $125 but is it worth it to redeem at the lower level?

Since the $125 is normally a $85 redemption, I'd say so. that's $40 more than the normal redemption value. Unless the prices of what you're redeeming are way out of whack from normal list price (or what you'd see on another, lesser redemption day), it's a lot more bang for your buck.
But only you can know for sure what works for you!

That's so cool! I have a $10 GC they gave me last time, so I have $70 to spend. Thank you so much everyone for your help! We just had a new grandchild last Friday (the fourth grandchild in the last four years) so we're buying diapers and formula to help the kids out.

Hey Ya'll!
Can you tell me what you'd recommend using the points for on this upcoming big weekend if you don't need electronics or baby stuff? I was planning to buy gift cards with it, but since that isn't allowed, does it make sense to buy a bunch of everyday needs like tampons, makeup etc. (that is all overpriced at SDM) or does that seem like a waste of such a big amount of $125?
AND...can be coupons be used, as well?
Sorry for the dumb question - I'm just wanting to be sure I don't waste these points!
Thank you!Last edited by coupon-o-bot; Thu, Dec 1st, 2011 at 04:38 PM.

coupons yes, maximize savings by getting stuff on sale. I plan to get $500 worth of electronics and $750 in food.

I am 8,000 points short of 50,000 - can someone give me any ideas on how to earn those points without spending a bunch before Saturday? Thanks!
