i would get it but my mom is allergic to cats ... so no kitties for me until i move out

win, it was the same for me - not because of allergies, but my dad didn't like cats.
So once I finished my first degree, got my first full-time job and moved out on my own when I was 20, I got my first kitty!

Strangely enough I didn't buy food. lol.

#1 = Nintendo DS XL and perfume sampler
#2 = Presents for the kids (Sophie Teether, Leapfrog computer, MP3 player, marker sets, baby rattle & another type of teether) and then baby supplies (4 boxes of diapers, 4 packs of wipes, infant tylenol, infacol)
#3=Presents for DH (2 nintendo DS games, Zelda Wii game, Pistachios, Slippers, Book, stocking stuffers)
#4 = Video Camera! So excited about this one. I've wanted one for awhile and they had a really nice one on sale for $199.99! Sweet! So, got that and some household items (advil, tylenol, tums, bendadryl, paper towels, garbages bags, toothbrushes)
#5 = Presents for family members (just needed to top up a few gifts so I used the last 50,000 points to buy little odds and ends for people)

I sooooo could have spent way more! lol. Already started saving for next Christmas!

lola, definitely different buying baby stuff! There were no gift items appropriate for what I'd need there...
I was considering the e-reader, but after some research, changed my mind.
Very tempted to buy perfume for myself - but that would have been $90, and there's no way I could spend that on myself in good conscience (same thing happened last year, lol!)!
It's okay - went and bought the necessities there, for about $30 - tissues, pb, tuna, tylenol...

Since we're sharing what we got...

I only had one $250 redemption so I got Zelda Wii game, Nunchuck for the Wii, Prada Candy perfume (for me!), leapfrog writing tablet, set of red casserole dishes, hand soap refill, deodorant, axe body wash X2, flex 4 razors X2... and I can't remember the rest! LOL... I know I got a few other small Christmas gifts. It was so much fun, I can't wait to do it next year... I'm saving my points now so I can do a bunch of redemptions next year!
