Thanks avon ..i see your still keeping very busy ..you got to slow down some sweetie . Yes ..been out couple times now getting some sea glass, sea shells and driftwood ..will start working on my craft projects again in September ..this is a project i finish few days ago lol

Reminds me of when I was a kid, we had no pets - someone did have goldfish for a while, though.
Those were the days when we were free-range kids, walking to and from school alone, could just go play in the neighborhood, etc. Then, there would be cats in yards or on the sidewalks or streets, and whenever I came across one I would stop to pet it, and sometimes bring it home. Mom always said no, and I would have to return the cat from where I found it. One time I did hide one in our attached garage, but she found it.

Guess I finally figured I could not bring them home, so when I had a cat come to me, I would park myself on someone's lawn and enjoy time playing with the cat.
However, that caused other problems - not getting to school on time, coming home for lunch late and, especially, being really late coming home after school.

Had to wait until I was 20, done university and living on my own to get cats. First thing I did before I bought a stereo and tv!

Well it's almost seven and I am hungry - time to wake up husband to help me with supper!

Beautiful start to the day. Mottled sunshine through the trees. Very relaxing. Day trip today to McMichael Gallery to see the Maud Lewis exhibition. Looking forward to that.

I just walked 1.8km!!! I needed ingredients for my tarts for a party on the island on Saturday, DH isn't home, DD suggested I take my walker and head over there!! Brat. So I did!! 1.8km!!!
