Happy Thanksgiving, @GoJays !!
Oh, for sure I'll 'threaten' them with that call to head office! Not the first time I'd have pulled that off. They're usually great at our Michaels though, plus they all know me so well there. I'm not sure they do this for others, but if I forget my coupons, they just pull one out of the drawer or whatever, scan it and give me the discount anyway...at least for the normal ones. That 55% off was in my email and naturally I print out a bunch and take Hubby who goes through the line with whatever I wanted and uses it, too. Theeeeeenn, perhaps I return later that day and snag a couple more deals. :) It's a big saving on paint brushes, paints, etc and even if I need a spool of thread, lol, it's a bargain! ;)
It's nice to have that big dinner overwith, isn't it? The kids love the 2 days of r&r they are having before work/school tomorrow.
Hm. Bbq burgers sound good today, and it's a gorgeous sunny day, too, but no buns (although a trip to a corner store would solve that)..might be tempting!
Oh, my gosh...that little duckling!!! I'm feeling the same; we're all planning to go to Disneyworld in early spring for our 50th anniversary (yes, we'd love to celebrate with the family:))...it'll all depend on how I feel. I did well in NY, but it was exhausting, and Disney would be worse for me. We'll stay on site, so I'll be able to take an afternoon nap just to get off my feet and rest my back, but DD thinks it's unfair to her Daddy to be removed from the fun while I nap, lol....Thing is, we all don't have to be tied together; they can go where they want, we can be together or not, separate, meet up for dinner...a week is a long time to get everything done. Time will tell.....
Enjoy your day in spite of the laundry, Jays!!
