Good morning...well, not for little Jenny, it seems. She's spit up a couple of times, and just holding her, she stares into my eyes so helplessly. She's asleep in my lap now, just not herself this morning, so listless. I'm hoping it's just puppy-flu......
A rainy day, so I'm making up crockpot turkey chili for dinner. It's nice to get off the bbq merry go round, fall's gift, although we're not looking forward to another long deep-freeze this winter. Hybernation is definitely in our future. All we'd need is WM grocery delivery here besides justvpick-up. :)

Edited: Jenny shared 2 boiled eggs and a banana with me, so at least she has an appetite. She's back to sleep on myblap and I'm nibbling grapes. I hope whatever she had this morning has blown over.

Sorry to hear you're still battling on so many fronts, Nat; I hope that turns around for you very soon.
As for horseback riding, I used to love it, on a gallop...but the last time (notice, "last time"), the horse was galloping back to the stalls and slipped on the big pile of manure, landing him and I into the edge of it. Everyone panicked seeing my leg was pinned under him as he was kicking around getting up, but no harm done to either of us and I thought it was hilarious. A bit later. :)
Sorry to hear our friend Jenny has had a bit of a "ruff" day. And @Natalka , that pain is not nice! Wish I could put a spell on it and it would go away.
After realizing that it is TUESDAY, not Wednesday, I re-adjusted my expectations.
A family friend from Chatham sent me a letter telling me that she is attending a Clogging Convention the first weekend in October here in Waterloo. This woman is amazing! I would say she is in her early 70's. She survived Breast Cancer and joined a beast cancer survivors dragon-boat team which she followed to the world championships. All the while she has been clogging. She and her husband travel to all the exotic parts of the wirld. They are very much into environmental issues and have planted 100s of trees on a property they bought for that purpose. I totally admire this lady.
She is only on a waiting list for a room where the convention will be held, but I, of course, invited her to stay here. Lots of organizing to be done before that,then.
I'm lying down for a while as my back and head are giving me a bit of grief.
@flemeth , your daughter will be heading back to Waterloo soon, I guess. Has she sorted out her accommodation issue?
Going to say, "Bye for now," have a great, even if it is rainy, day!
