A pretty nice day here, we did get some fluffy snow overnight and a few flickers today, but nothing awful, no blowing, and the ice has all melted, so a pleasant day if you like winter days at all. I do not.

So glad the consequences for distracted driving are getting more serious.
I do wish their phones were taken away, though.
Nurse came this morning for a rather fly-by visit, checked my leg, asked if I was feeling okay. That was it, no physical checkup...
Unexpectedly, physiotherapist showed up this aft. She did some work on my lower back and left butt/back/under thigh. I'm to stop all the leg exercises I have been doing because I am too tender, as she says. I am to just do the three new ones.
After she left, I checked her last email to me, sure enough it said the next visit would be January 31 - at that time, I remember wondering why she would leave me on my own for so long.
Milan is coming over soon, we will have Chinese food - I have been craving it for a very long time, but knew I wouldn't eat it. Now that I have taste and space, I can't wait!
Weight this morning was another 10 pounds down. I am pretty sure I will be gaining some back.

My son was lucky enough to see a meteor streak across the sky over Saskatoon. He just happened to be out - had gone to work to get an internet cord - and it was just by chance.
He said it was amazing - and wasn't sure if he really saw what he did until he looked it up on the news.

Jeepers! Just saw a piece on CBC about rent increases, a mom with a daughter, saying the 2% increase will be a real hardship with rent, diapers, etc...yet there she is, a special, expensive haircut (half shaved), obviously a dye-job, lip piercing and tattoos?! Sorry. I don't get it. I know it may sound harsh, but I really don't get it.

Anyway, up early to grab fast passes for our trip, 60 days out, can't believe how time has flown!

Good morning, friends! Happy New Year! Wishing all of you and yours health and happiness and adventures that fill your heart in this coming year!
We had a fun get together last night and were out of the space and all cleaned up by 10:30. I walked Tootie and made up my BrotherR 's bed and then flopped into bed but stayed awake long enough to ring in the New Year.
Going to watch the Rose Parade that starts in an hour.

Last night was very nice - but I sure wasn't ready for Chinese food. It was good because of the flavours, but some things I just couldn't eat. We have tons of food left, and Milan took lots home. We got free chicken balls and coconut buns with our order, so that meant even more food!

Had an awesome lunch at my father aunt house.They are good people not judging.We had fun.I am so still full hahhaha...I brought a Christmas log.We had rosbif with gravy and mashed patatoes,shrimps and cocktail sauce,dip and vegetables,fresh bread,2 types of salads,4 varieties of cheeses and grapes,sugar pie and coffee..after that we had chocolates,nuts and coffee
