Good morning, friends! Another cold one today.
Woke up with a tummy ache today which is unusual for me. (But I did cook for myself last night as I had forgotten to register for supper.) I took some baby gravol which I usually give to Tootie when she has a tummie upset and now I am feeling tired, but she really needs to get outside.

They said the last time we had temps this nasty was in March of 2018...or was it March 2019? I forget already.
I'm a little geared up. Happy to be making the filling for the Christmas cracker ravioli things we're serving as a small course on the 25th. The butternut squash, ricotta cheese are roasting atm....other goodness will be added to that once those 2 ingredients have roasted at least an hour. ( a recipe I've stolen from Jamie Oliver! )

The dough was made last night, so through the pasta maker it'll go and then let the filling begin! I am making as many as the dough and filling will allow, then freezing them so easy work come Christmas Day.

Oh, I know, @cabmonk , but he can never reverse the label of "impeached." The Senate is supposed to hold an impartial trial where there are no pre-conceptions. But that won't happen. It just all too smarmy!
It's cold but the wind hasn't been a big issue yet.
I am going down in a few minutes to have the Christmas Carol sing song and after next week, I am done. Too much effort for too little results. Maybe someone else can do a better job than I have done.
Well, Tootie is fast asleep but I have to wake her up to let her know I am going. Otherwise, she barks if she can't find me.

St. Nicholas Day on the Julian calendar.
Fighting nausea, assorted body pains, along with being 'off' food again yesterday. Oh, and gastric issues, which I assume are a result of me going from eating soup, crackers, and fruit and having days when I have eaten real food - especially proteins.
Sleep has been decent, at least, in my own way.

I just made THE BEST gluten-free loaf of bread ever!!!! It rose above my loaf-pan and is beautiful!
No more of those bricks they call bread at grocery stores, and no more $7 loaves of "air" bread, either!! I can't wait to make another loaf with shredded cheese in it!! It doesn't crumble in a million pieces making it useless for sandwiches, it holds its shape, is soft...honestly, I could sell this!!
We did go out for a bit this afternoon after the bread was baked and it was pretty quiet out there; I will not go anywhere next week, however.
@avoncallingu , YES! Someone else can do stuff! Wipe it off your full plate! Good on ya!!
@walkonby , your fire-cracker ravioli sounds amazing and tasty....only 1500 other dishes to make before Christmas! Hahaha!!

Oh I hear ya @Lynn49 it’s crazy but not surprising. I was like really another light sentence for something like this.
As for trump there are a lot of people that think it will just make conservatives double down and elect him again.
Anyway going to sudbury tomorrow with my aunt. She’s going to see an eye specialist and wanted me to go with her.
