Just a quick HI from me!
Nothing much happening, was up most of the night and have been unable to nap. Will try again soon because my head is so heavy!
Husband is no better regarding his back, so that is concerning. Dr gave him pain pills for only five days, and those are done.
Watched some shows - Nigella's Christmas was really very good. Now I am watching Gypsy weddings/Christmas - so very interesting!

All quiet here for the moment. Football is on ( still ) but I have reached my maximum limit of watching, I know when it is enough when I begin dozing off.
WE have the rain BUT so far they say T.O. will miss the " freezing " part of the rain. Whew!! Hope they are correct, I'll be heading out to physio tomorrow and the guys return to work, we sure don't want any slippy, slidy roads to travel on.
So... @Lynn49 I'll bet your day was super happy!! I saw Brady's team lose which means they don't enjoy that week off, AND then your Packers came back from a 14 -0 deficit to win 23 -20 AND they DO get the week off before the playoffs start. For sure you are grinning from ear to ear.
Our Leafs played wonderfully last night, even though they lost in O.T. it was such an entertaining and nail biter of a game!
Oh, @walkonby , I was hyperventilating through both those games! Good defeated evil in that Patriots game, yay! My Pack.....ain't they the best? Aaron Rodgers reminds me so much of our SIL, lol...without the gazillion dollars, however.Quote:

Well, that was rude. Somehow I got logged out overnight and had to remember my password. @Lynn49 , we were flipping back and forth between the Miami game and the Chiefs game. At one point in Kansas City, the crowd started cheering 'Go Miami Go'. I'm paraphrasing, of course, but it was something similar. It was right after they scored a three pointer, I think. I was amused by it. I didn't think they'd pull it off, knowing the Patriot's amazing skill of coming from behind, but nope, they just didn't have enough. HAHAHAHAHHAH!!:twisted:

Very busy day yesterday I had my Aunts and cousin visiting me yesterday so had to entertain until the leave which was at 10pm. Didn’t mind at all since my Aunts are in there 80 and had lots of story and reminiscing . I am learning new things about my maternal side of the family every time we get together.
Since my my cousins and her mom is leaving later today to go back to New York I will get to have some me time before I start tidying up and do laundry.
I also have to prepare 2 dishes and a dessert to take to my BIL house since the are hosting NewYears Eve.

Just lazy days around here, it's a skating rink out there, so not much is moving, but we didn't get hit with a power outage, thank heavens.

Here’s the crazy thing but I know it can boost your metabolism. I had gone a bit back up to 226 a week ago. I ate so much over 3 days for Christmas inc so many desserts. Then today I weighed myself and I had gone down to 217 lol. Back to my spin classes and stuff. Hope everyone is doing well. :)
