Chat-a-Thon 2017-18 Thread!

Good morning!!

Recovering from yesterday's Easter dinner at Daughter's in-laws. Long day, DH and I were in bed and asleep by 9:30..lol!! Yep, life in the fast-lane!! Always nice to get together, but just as nice to return home. :)
@saundyl , good for you and your family to purchase that larger home!!! We did the opposite, of course, in our retirement..DH and her Hubby bought our larger home (honestly, I kept losing track of my hubby there! hahaha!) and we purchased her smaller one. Sounds like your kids are going to really enjoy their wide-open spaces, enjoy your process of putting your own 'stamp' on the place and calling it "home".
@Redneck Charger , ain't it the truth, though? This damp (and today, cold!) weather is a proctological nuisance! Where did that summery weather from Good Friday go?!! Stay warm and snuggled in until it's over, my Friend.

Wonderful afternoon.

Spent it finishing cleaning up the yard. Many bags ready for pickup later this week. Also transplanted some rogue flowers that appeared next to the property to my back yard. Neighbours gave me some mini daffodils which I planted also. Gave many of the plants a shot of early miracle grow before May. Now sitting in front porch with a beer.

Only drawback is a neighbour put soil in their grass and it is laced with manure. Whole neighborhood smells like cow sh*t now!!! [emoji23]

Hi everyone hope all is well. Was away visiting family since Thursday just got back and is tired from all the activities. Hope everyone had a great Easter , I love when I can spend time with my side of the family. The all live in New York. My DH family are all here. Had a great time even though I am tired good to to back in my own bed. Have a great evening

Thank you, @Natalka ....I don't have the bag my Robin Hood flour came in since we put it into a container...which will now be emptied just in case! Thanks for the reminder here! I did see a little blurb on tv, but didn't stick around for the full story, then forgot to look for it here. Much obliged! :)

That's what a lot of people do, Lynn. I just happen to have Co-op flour now. But it's crazy that the recall has expanded so much.

Don't like these grey days... but, hey, it's typical spring. What we do need is a few days of really good rain, to clean things up.

Good morning fam.
Took a sick day yesterday.
Don't know what happened over night from Sunday to Monday...but I got up and I couldn't speak, and could barely swallow. Back of my throat was super swollen and sore.
Trying not to speak too much today...but back to the papers for me today...at least here I don't have to physically speak!

Greetings folks! And belated Happy Easter! I was cruelly separated from the internet and had to control the withdrawal symptoms by eating turkey and chocolate. It barely took away the symptoms! A big smiley weekend for me. Good food- spent Easter celebrations with SIL' s large family. Happy times watching kids of varying ages and chatting. Also spent time (and ate more turkey) with long-time friends. Went to church and sang, sang, sang those "Hallelujah" songs!
Well Sadie-Mae has been patient long enough -although I did get dressed out of my nightie last night at 11:45 to take her out.

Have a wonderful "Monday-Tuesday" - first day of the workweek for some.
