Jeepers! Hoping healing goes well for you, so sorry you have to deal with that.
Grr, I know what it's like being in a four bed room - no privacy or space.
Do they allow pet visits? Ours do - that would be nice for you.
My update - the newest blister has recceeded, nurse said she could barely find it. That leg had to go back into Cobands. She thought if I had nothing new happen, both legs would be in compression stockings next week.
My visits from nurses will be going down to twice weekly. That is okay with me. - and if something comes up between visits, they will send a nurse if needed.
Tuesday/Wednesday night I had not slept - yesterday I slept in the morning, the aft, then the evening. I had supper at two this morning! Went back to sleep for a few hours. Just finished brekkie so I am watching some shows.
My biggest prob to deal with now is severe pain in right hip - last x-ray had shown lots of arthritis there - with additional pain down to my knee. Walking is very crooked baby steps and not going very far. Frustrating!

@avoncallingu , how are you doing today? Are the antibiotics helping? I hope you don't have to have surgery to repair the abcess.
My Polar Express train is ready for pick-up, so DH will pick it up and we'll put it together to make sure everything works. I can't imagine opening it when our GS is ready to assemble it for under our tree only to find it's defective and they're hard enough to find even now.

Good news! Dr. says that I might be able to go home tomorrow if everything stays good.
He has put me on REAL food today and oral antibiotics.
Idea that I might be able to head home tomorrow. I will speak with the nutritionist about diet -both soon and heading into the future.
I don't have to particularly isolate as I thought I might. But I am going to hide for a few days from people who would like me to be doing things.
Nice warm weather over the next few days, so that's a bonus.
Hallmark movies are sounding good!

@Lynn49 yup....Walmart. Mostly aggravating.
I have had a couple items delivered from them BUT the item was already over the $25.00 mark. Adding items to try to bring the total up is like them twisting your arm.
