Chat-a-Thon 2017-18 Thread!

Hello friends! My BrotherR 's appointment went well. The doctor was happy with his current range of motion.
His main advise was to keep busy during lockdown. Unfortunately, my BrotherR's Lodge has had another outbreak identified on Sunday. They are waiting for results of tests on a staff member.
All staff members and residents have had both shots, but just last week for the second one.

@Lynn49 - I no longer have a Sirius radio in my car, sadly. We had to actually TALK during the ride.

After having Sirius for 5 years now, I don't think I could go back to regular radio... all those stupid ads... *shudder*

I feel the same, @GoJays , I dont want "chatter", just music. Same thing in the house...'a radio'?! Absolutely unacceptable, all that blah-blah plus commercials! If I'm on the computer, free accuradio, usually tuned to 60s collections. ✌

Good sunny morning, everyone!!

a quick " how do ya do " and I'm off again! It was quite the busy morning for me today, left the house before 7 a.m.
Had 2 items put away for me at Sobeys and wanted to be there when they opened to get in and out with as few shoppers as possible.
Again I got no flyers delivered to my house in time for the new sales Thursday, so that meant no Pm-ing and separate trips to WM, NF and FB , then filled up the tank ( gas prices are going the wrong way!! ) and skedaddled back home.

The last store I was at, there was a very long line up to get in and one to pay to get out. That was where I wasted most of my time. I did the self check out to jump the queue.
I was pleased to grab many items on sale that we were very close to being out of and I got 2 Scops! ( $20.00 total!! )

I am beat now....just beat! No more out for me.

Got a great pick-me-up yesterday when Milan came for supper and a visit. I was quite nauseated yesterday and into the evening, but was glad I felt like eating when supper was ready. Husband made these absolutely amazing pork burgers , no vampires shall visit us for a looong time. Son took the leftovers, but we will have meatballs made from the same mix, with sauce and pasta tonight.

Having some family drama ( way too many siblings ), need to thunk for a few days to see what my next response should be. One sister is currently rather prickly.... Son thanked me that he is an only child. Ya but it was not planned that way, but has worked out amazingly well.

So I am not feeling my best, just hoping the yucky feelings stay as muted as they have been. Pain is enough to deal with.

@danger_dan , it may have been just one from @GoJays this morning but in this case, quality won out....I think sometimes a meme just comes along at the right time and it's far more hilarious than it may have been at another time. I couldn't stop laughing!! 😂🤣 Thanks, Jay's!

I heard that there was a line-up at CT before the doors opened the other day!! There go our numbers again!! We'll continue to stay where we are. Nothing's really changed since March.😥

Remain vigilant, friends.......we may only be a very little way through this.
