Good....afternoon, friends. I was awakened by a gentle nose on my arm this morning. Tootie had not relieved herself in my especially nicely shovelled out area last night so I knew she had to go. Well, that shovelled out area had blown over during the night so she was still dipping her bum down in the snow.
Did you read about a woman who went out to the outhouse on a winter-camping trip and was bitten on the bum by a bear who had made it's way in there to keep warm.
YIKES!
So, I got some laundry folded and put away, my humidifier back together and working after a major job of cleaning all the salt out of it. I also got my vacuum filter replaced and ready to go to finish up the job of getting the granite dust out of the kitchen.
Somehow, my kitchen pipes are banging when I flush the toilet. (No, I don't have a toilet in the kitchen)
It's apparently called water hammer and results from air in the water lines. I have put a call in to maintenance to come and check it out.
Got to run. I have a little shopping to do.
Stay safe!
It's schools closed day today. Shift to online learning.
BFN!
morning all.
Snowing again.
Seems I displayed my cranky side yesterday morning so to make amends I offer you all THIS!!!

Your welcome
Waiting at the Medical Building for my BrotherR to arrive. There are 2 Medical Buildings here. I hope I am at the right one.
Sloppy, slippery, windy here today.
I have to re-set my Google Password because I have become "unsync"ed. There goes a goodly part of my afternoon!
Well, must go. Have a good day!
Good day my friends! I see that life continues on despite the snow. We got some here but nowhere near as much on the other side of T.O.
I am blessed having neighbours who clear the sidewalk for me. Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't go down to freezing so that the slush will freeze. I definitely don't walk when there's ice. Only a few more days till the end of the month, then spring will be all that closer.
Sorry to read of your continued difficulties @Natalka , still praying for you and glad to see you still posting.
Everyone stay safe and well!
That video more than makes up for it @walkonby https://yoursmiles.org/msmile/fun/m0139.gif
lots of work...and then the dentist...
Snow, melt, snow, melt, now more snow! So much had melted yesterday that Jenny wandered around looking for snow anywhere near her usual piddle spot which had melted. Now.....phhht! Well, she'll be happy.
Nothing much going on, I may ask my Hubby to run into Michael's if they have what I need in stock. But I have lots of other things to do if they don't.....how are other late-middle-aged people keeping busy during shut downs?! I can't imagine just reading or watching TV every day! I'm so thankful for all my crafting interests and, consequently, projects.
Ok! I hope everyone's doing well, I hope no one is wearing their cranky-pants today........hahaha!
Enjoy the day, stay safe!
No cranky pants here @Lynn49 !
Nurse just came to redo my bandages - everything has closed up, now it's waiting for good, strong skin to develop (Who am I kidding? That will never happen...).
The vast majority of the time I get the same nurse, but had a new one today and she was fab. She remembers seeing me a year ago, but I don't recall, perhaps with the mask off.
Husband is really really having a rough time with his back - I feel so badly that I cannot do anything to help him, but I still need to ask for help from him.
Have a great day, everyone!

I really badly miss my kitty - spend lots of time on YouTube...
Well, it was likely inevitable....5 covid cases at our GS's school, 3 in gr 10, 2 in gr 8, but thankfully his class isn't ever close to either class. The school is shut down, he'll be tested at 5pm today, video classes start tomorrow, if he tests negative he can go back to school next Thursday, where he'd much rather be. He'd rather get emailed the work and send it in rather than sitting in a virtual classroom.
Here's a scary story: one of our DD's friends has a co-worker in a family of 8. One of them lost her sense of taste so they all got tested.....6 of the 8 were asymptomatic with covid!!
It's still scary out there, folks.....remain diligent, please! 😔
