So prince andrew has been stripped of all titles, which have been relinquished to the queen, lost his 'royal' title, I think...so he's just andrew now?
Evidently the queen received conclusive 'evidence' or some such that gave her reason to do that. (only heard on BBC news just now, interestingly not in any reports):whoo:
LONDON, Jan 13 (Reuters) -- Britain Prince Andrew has returned his military affiliations and royal patronages to Queen Elizabeth, Buckingham Palace said on Thursday, a day after his lawyers failed to persuade a U.S. judge to dismiss a civil lawsuit against him which accuses the royal of sexual abuse.
"With The Queen's approval and agreement, The Duke of York’s military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen," Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
"The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen."

Although the bright sunshine coming in between the blinds here is distracting, I do love the warmth of it.
Love a bit of sun (though it points out my failings as a tidy Heidi). The cats were all splayed out in a large swath of sunlight this morning--like you'd tossed a bag of them on the floor.
