Good morning troops! Up and at 'em! Oh , no wait, I can't get going because my FLYERS are not here yet!! GRRRRRR!

hahahaha!!! You know us far too well, @walkonby!! As I'm sitting here sipping a Smirnoff Sangria cooler. :)

Great news, I got in to my eye surgeon tomorrow, just by making a quick enquiry call, and poof! A cancellation tomorrow!

Then straight from there to the island for 4-5 days.

Our SIL's cousin and his family from the TB Lightning will be up visiting his Mom and Dad this week, along with his sister and her 2 kids from Barrie...so it'll be a blow-out family clan partying for a few days!! Our SIL's hoping his brother from S Ont. will be driving up on Saturday for the weekend, too! No Stanley Cup with them this time, though!!

So take good care, enjoy your weekend, everyone, stay safe out there!!

And because I can't copy-post from my Samsung Galaxy tablet, I'll post this now, for Saturday...

Good day ( it's also very sunny here as well ) to all the others who have posted this morning. DH and I sat out back trying to warm our aching bones up in the sun. We sipped our coffees, squinted achingly across from each other, then we both bailed! That sun is hot!
Plus the java pouring down our throats gave us the sweats.

So I go up and harvested the very first batch of his beautiful green beans! ( see bragging veggie photo! )

I will make them for dinner tonight, even though I have no idea what the main course will be.
In other very depressing news......DH caught the dreaded covid!!
He tested + late last night after I told him he looked " off ". he claimed he was just tired, hrmph! No, you are infected.
So now DS and him must both stay off work for whatever time frame is required.
DS and I tested - so far. We'll retest a few more times over the coming days.

Fun, fun, fun. You just never know what each day brings do we?

@walkonby sorry your DH caught the dreaded Covid 19 hoping he is better by now.

I also harvested the first batch of green beans and it was part of dinner last night. It was so tasty.

@Lynn49 hope and pray that your eye surgery has gone well and you havenÂ’t gone batty (despite the evidence) actually I may be a better candidate for that!
With this blasted humidity I have been staying close to home with my faithful air conditioner at my side.
It has been the only way I can cope as itÂ’s done a number on my body especially my head(I will spare the details). Thankfully I have figured out a system so that each day is better than the one before.
You do what you can folks one day/hour/minute at a time Lord whatever works best for you!

Blue Jays all the Way!! They took today's afternoon game against the Red Sox. Let's sweep them tomorrow!!

Good morning and a VERY happy Bunday to everyone! This adorable fellow ( or gal? ) was on our lawn about 20 minutes ago. How lucky for me that this fur ball allowed me to snap a pic. It is a soup making day for me, as I'm all out of the red pepper/cauliflower number that keeps me on the straight and narrow.
Not looking forward to playing the covid test ( home version ) , but since I have blood work to do in the a.m. I had better confirm I am testing negative. If I was given a choice, I'd rather test blood and poke my finger with a small needle that stick this swabby number up my schnoz.
Shudder!!

ugh....pretty sure I caught it ( from DH )
Did the home test early this morning and the solid dark pink line up top is there but the light pink line under it is quite faint looking....but still there, so I guess I have covid??
My staying inside for 5 days starts NOW.

Sorry that you caught Covid from your DH @walkonby . Unfortunately DW and I both have it and we’re not certain from where(we each have our own theories).At least there’s food in the house and the humidity has finally stopped. I can relate to @danger_dan pondering of time(Just wait till you get older young man).SC seems to be my accomplishment of the day(could be worse) so I must apply myself.
