good day! We were no fan of watching the Blue Jays game live last night on Apple+ but we did it. Not liking their announcers, we're used to Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez.
THAT is why the Blue Jays lost! tee hee
Nothing on the agenda for us today except recuperating ( still ) from our Saturday Covid Booster shots. Symptoms included hot left arm, aches all across the back upper shoulder area and SLEEP! Too much sleeping. Not much of an appetite this morning for me, coffee was all I wanted.
so i've been on the hunt for huy fong products (rooster on the bottle) specifically their sriracha and sambal oelek. I know there was a shortage of chili so their production stopped.
i've been to pretty much all the usual chain stores and non-chain stores and had no luck. I live in Edmonton, AB and it's a fairly large city with many ethnic stores. Anyway, huy fong products were readily available before the chili storage.
i don't want to order from amazon
anyway, any idea on where i should check?
beside the local mom and pop convenience stores in my areas, here are the big name stores i went and to multiple locations:
- RCSS
- NF
- Safeway
- Sobeys
- Freshco
- SOF
- WM
Where I live we do not have certain loblaw stores, zehr, maxi, etc
You can check out the RCSS warehouse outlet on 99 st and about 66 ave, T&T superstore, and HMart. I drop through them weekly and can let you know or pick some up for you, if you tell me the number of bottles you want.
@Lynn49 I don’t quite know what to say in response to being called a proctological nuisance.A nuisance yes that’s possible but there’s nothing logical about it! I have also played corn hole toss.Hope you’re enjoying your time at camp.
Not much happening around here today. Rain and blah so far with more expected.Good day to take a nap with the cat.May need to go out again for some fresh air.

I think these are 'expected' effects after the booster. These should go away after 3 days max.

good morning again, yes, the symptoms and side effects from the booster have subsided for both DH and I. ( so grateful ). Not sure what the nest 2 days of leisure will include for us but mine will be enjoyed under a renewed sense of " Atta Girl! " . This morning I reached a new drop on the scale and have now rid myself of a total of 21.8 lbs since April 9th!!
I love doing silly calculations like dividing the " number of days spent I've spent in 1200 calorie a day hell " by the pounds dropped.
It's a 1/2 pound every day!! ( I know, not accurate or relevant data but I still use it to pump myself up ) Can anyone else top that kind of excitement? ha ha

Good morning!
A great day at camp yesterday, in the after-math of the deluge and resulting flooding on Saturday! We had ducks SWIMMING along on the roads at the end of our street! Lower lots there were completely submerged. We’re on slightly higher ground, so we were fine….pontoons may be required next time on all our RVs! So yesterday we all got outside, lots of hello hugs, a great gang of couples our age on our street! Another sunny, beautiful day today!
@Skippy ….proctological nuisance= pain in the a$$, lol! But in the nicest way! :tongue:
We’ll head home later today, but much to enjoy yet!
