Just a quick drive-by. Got home a few minutes ago from the hospital. My DIL was rushed into emergency with difficulty breathing. Turns out she has blood clots from her surgery in her lungs. They're going to admit her, but she's still waiting for a bed. She's on oxygen, heavy duty blood thinners, and antibiotics.
Geez, if it's not one thing, it's another. :frown:

Oh, @22hicks !!!! Thank God she went in and didn't delay the findings and subsequent medications! I pray she'll come through this quickly and return home; what an awful, horrible thing to have happen!! Your Son must be frantic with worry, as are you and her family. She's in the right place now and getting excellent care...I'll keep her in my prayers, Hicks.

Well, I came on here to say that I twisted my ankle this afternoon and am walking with the aid of my crutches again. As @22hicks says, what next?! Although, heaven forbid, this is nothing compared to her dear DIL.
I was feeling so great, walking all over Fabricland with my friend, choosing fabrics for our new quilts, then lunch, and she even commented on how "normal" this felt compared to the last 3 years.
She was with me twice now when I broke my leg/spained my ankle...she said my DH wouldn't let me go out with her anymore! :tongue:
On the upside, we got all our fabric, and the sprain isn't on my "sewing pedal" foot! :redface:
And how was everyone else's day??!!

I'm so sorry to hear that @Lynn49 , a sprained ankle. Is it on your bad leg? Happy it's not your pedal foot though. lol
