I know, I've been AWOL for about a week now. I've been busy, had a wicked migraine, (still do) and had the pleasure of spending a few days with @avoncallingu.
What a wonderful lady, just as you said @Lynn49. Hey, were your ears burning? Should have been, but no way am I telling you anything we were saying about you. Ha ha ha. But don't you worry, we had your pieces of pie for you; ALLLLL GONE.
I'm trying to catch up, but it hurts to spend very much time staring at a computer screen.

....I was so sad to hear about your migraine while Avon was visiting you, poor muffin. I hope it's vastly improved by now. As for gossiping about moi...huh! I figured as much! :tongue: As long as you two enjoyed that lemon pie as much as I would have, I'm fine with it all...:)
Relieved to hear that you're seeing what I'm seeing. I did go to that site and yep, they want money. What a grab!!
Our GS was just picked up, and we spent some quality time looking up the values of his most cherished Pokemon cards...hahaha....a few of them are worth quite a bit, considering he found them in an $8 pack. I was mostly interested in knowing what he had so that I can pick up some slightly valuable ones on amazon for his advent calendar stuffies. We had fun together, which is the important part. :)
Well, tootles for now, everyone!! I hope your long weekend was as relaxing as you all needed it to be or as exciting as you all hoped it would be!!!

Hello folks! Very exciting and varied weekend! A mixture of good times, good food , getting work done, watching TV, getting laundry done. Getting back to where you started takes a lot of time and energy!
We start into this week at a running start! Tuesday tomorrow!

Went to bed at 11pm and was up at 3am. There was an email from Audible.com saying the audio book I pre-ordered months ago is now in my Library. So almost 4am I'm listening to Rhett and Links book of mythicality lol.

Good Morning Kids, How we all doing after the turkey weekend... I had Prime Rib last night, and the way I cooked it, was the best I have ever had, it just melted in your mouth... Never thought of cooking it this way, but will be doing it this way forever now... Not a lot to report... Hope YOU all have a GREAT day!

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend with the extra day off and lots of rest. I I watch the Leafs game with DH last night and our boys in Blue give us another win. These games are very stressful for my DH I think sometimes he need to not watch and just see the out come at the end.Have a wonderful Tuesday all.

I know what you mean, flemeth! My BrotherR is rooting for the Astros in the World Series. I swear he thinks those players can hear him give them advise. And when they don't-he just gets louder!
Cleaning crew is set to be here at 10 - migraine meds are doing their thing-
Went to bed with the air conditioning on- woke up to fog and 8°. This fog is causing crashes. A couple of roads closed.
Well... got to tidy up before the cleaners get here.

Happy Tuesday SC ,7 volunteers made 136 meat pies yesterday for a upcoming fund raiser next month, had a good time. Today just catching up on all the housework around here.

Finished listening to the audio book of Rhett and Links book of mythicality. Almost 6 hours straight of listening to it. Now what do I do with the rest of the day lol. ;)

G'day everyone...or at least it would be for me if I didn't have this sore throat and swollen hand...although I think the swelling is going down a bit..
What a gorgeous sunny day out there!! 14 today isn't exactly like the balmy weather we've grown accustomed to and the 5 overnight isn't encouraging, either, but sign of the times, I guess.
Is everyone catatonic from their thanksgiving dinners? As you all recuperate from your long weekend of making merry at thanksgiving, we're recovering from a busy weekend at the casino resort. What a beautiful environment they've created.
I think I'm going to have a bit of a lie-down...feeling feverish, and just plain yucky today. I hope YOU all are feeling much perkier and can enjoy these non-snowy days!! :tongue:

A late check in here, was trying to catch up on some recorded shows but it is time consuming, even when fast forwarding past the commercials. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday weekend...we should be done with the leftover dance by tonight, then it's time to figure out some work meals for the guys again.
