Well, Walks, Hicks, I was up until 2am, so we could have ad a conference call! :) I tried to fall asleep without a pain pills, but by 1am it was obviously not working.
@avoncallingu , awwwwww, I Love, love it that Sadie wanted to be with her Mom last night. I hope that never changes...I miss Jenny sleeping with me.:bawling: And what did you do to your hair?!
Busy day doing prep-work for Superbowl dinner tomorrow....Pork Grillardes representing the south...the Atlanta Falcons, and not the north! Haha! And yay....we Canadians get to see the American commercials! So exciting!

Hello folks!
Poor Sadie had an emergency "Please let me out NOW!" at 8. We made what I considered to be a quick exit. But a bit later she had a major pee mistake in my bathroom. I want to get her to the vet for rabies updates so I will have them check to see if she might have a urine infection. Our last Schnauzer died with diabetes which came on quickly. I am trying not to think along those lines.
I was just sitting down to a comfy day of vacation finding and paperwork when my brother phoned to say that our other brother was at the hospital. He has occasional incidents of his heart kicking into high speed and they have had to shock it to get it back in rhythm.
He had this procedure done 4 times in the last 24 hours and it still won't settle down.
My older nephew is in Ottawa and that left left the younger one at home by himself as he didn't want to get up at 4:00 am to go back to the hospital, so I left Sadie here and went to Kitchener to keep nephew company. They sent brother home with meds and he'll have to go to a clinic to find out where to go from here.
So I'm home and pooped and I have been trying to take the little girlie out quite often so she can relieve herself but I would really like to get to bed.
So today's agenda will become tomorrow's.
I will try to upload a pic of my new look.
Aw, @avoncallingu, I'm so sorry your brother is having a rough go of it right now. My Dad used to have that happen regularly...he used to say he went in to have jumpers cables jump start him again. They'll determine the right meds, I'll keep him in my prayers.
So. I mentioned that our DD and her Hubby are in Boyne....boys snowboarding, gals spa/ing...well their friend broke his arm "clean through" as our DD put it, so snowboarding is over. The docs at the hospital splinted it since it was so swollen, and he can go to his doctor back in Canada and get a cast. Poor guy.....and he has his construction company to look after. Jeepers!
SUPERBOWL SUNDAY tomorrow!! It's like waiting for Christmas morning! :cheesygrin:

Oh Lynn! I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's friend! Yikes! That will be a painful ride home - but nothing compared to one you took once! I hope there are good orthopedic surgeons in the Sault!

I had forgotten about the Super Bowl, believe it or not. One year we landed in Miami from a cruise the morning of the Super Bowl there. DH said, "Let's get out of here-it will be crazy today"- So we drove all the way across the state and watched it in Fort Myers.
I think I would like the Falcons to win.
Well, it's settle down time. Hope I can sleep in a bit in the morning.

@avoncallingu , this tablet changed "awww" to "awesome" in my original post to you, sorry for the ridiculous start to my post to you. I will be flying red flags today for the Falcons. Anything to not let those cheating Patriots win! And in honour of the south we're making Pork Grillardes for dinner from my favourite cooking show, Cooks Country. That's the cookbook my DH gave me for Christmas.....I got teary-eyed!!
Gads. I'm so fed up correcting all the time, is there a way to turn autocorrect off?! I don't mind it highlighting my spelling mistakes, but when it completely changes a word, that's where I draw the line!
Thanks Avon, Hicks...I haven't heard from my DD this morning, yet, so I don't know how their friend is doing, He just opened his own construction company, poor guy!
Well, off to take my meds and a nice big drug so that. I can straighten up with this backache I've had for about two weeks too long, and try to help my DH with prep work today. GS and I made brownies yesterday and of course we had to sample them after dinner yesterday.
