Up early, slaving away, getting ready for Avon's arrival today. I'll bake those cuppycakes today, make my caramel and fill them so that I can box them up forr our trip to the island tomorrow for SIL's b'day party....people coming up from Oakville (his brother), Burlington, the Sault, North Bay and Avon from Waterloo as well as locals.....par-tay!!
@GoJays , welcome back, and I agree that spelling is so annoying, but what hurts my ears to the point of bleeding-out is hearing people speak in interrogative sentences every single sentence! From weather forecasters to reporters, to... omgoodness, nearly everyone on tv!! Were they not taught how to speak properly?! Honestly, it nearly brings me to hysterics!

It's six here, and I doubt I have had more than two hours of sleep, it's been a horrible night. I keep getting the very bad sciatica pain down my left leg, which wakes me up and I have to sit, and sometimes walk. I have tried everything I can think of, but know it takes time. However, I have just about had enough, it has been awful...
This aft, I have the PT come to do ultrasound on my left knee, then right after that a care aide will come over.
A warmer day today which I can handle, but after today it will be hot.
So sad about the deaths in Quebec due to the heat...

Another hot one out today folks, stay cool and hydrated. Relief is on the way tomorrow...then slowly heating back up over the weekend.

@Natalka , oh, you 'sound' so down, and who can blame you for heaven's sake?! That sciatic pain is a real proctological nuisance, I'm sorry you're experiencing so many problems piled on top of each other. I hope it all subsides and that you're able to get some comfortable sleep later today, after your appointments.
