Dr. Nellie just left.

My BP is down to 140 and she figures it will go back further down to my normal.
Heartrate is low 40s.

So, nothing to worry about now, since I have no serious symptoms. She says I'm a long way from needing a pacemaker because I am doing well with things as they are. She talked to my specialist, there is no need for me to see him at this point because he said the same thing.
However, should I start having more symptoms all the time, it will be dealt with.

Hey, this is decent news, so I am glad of it. She was impressed my lungs were totally clear, and that my oxygen level is high.

Sigh! A good sigh this time!

Then we had time to chat - about our kids, the correcttional system, murderers, drugs in prisons, prisons in Scandanavian countries, her dog, then Vader came to visit and she got down on the floor to scratch/rub the kitty into oblivion, lol!

My stress level has gone down, so that is good.

Yep, I shall be careful, no fiddling around with pushing boundaries now. There are so many things I want to do, but just won't.


Tomorrow morning, a woman wil be coming from a specialty pharmacy to measure my legs for new compression stockings. I still don't know whether the government program will cover the cost or not, but fingers crossed, those puppies are pricey, and you have to get two new pairs every six months.

Very pleasant man in that video and obviously very good at what he does and explaining it precisely.

Ticked off a few things that needed to be done tonight but , oh, I am tired! Our weather bureau is saying that we have some high level haze which is actually smoke from all the fires out west. The moon was very hazy. Hard to describe unless you've seen it. All those carbon fibres falling down on us to be inhaled!
@Lynn49 - I can't interpret the code at the bottom of your football chart. It looks like Tampa Bay gets a "bye" week early which would really come in handy later in the season when they are tired and injured. But , then, all my Florida connections are flying the coop! I still think of Tampa as a second "home." Know my way around. Maybe I will still have to visit.

(Sounds like I actually know a little, Doesn't it?)

Morning folks! Just checked AccuWeather and it's supposed to rain for another hour and a half. But there's a little break at 9. Better be ready to whisk the doggie out cause she hates the rain. I am hearing some thunder too.

A relatively busy day today, our dr appt this afternoon, then a pop into Fabricland for something I need, then the day is shot. DH is golfing this morning since he'll miss his Tuesday afternoon group...

@flemeth, looks like the double-post demon is back...I got the triple-post the other day! So I've obviously missed this, but with a name like Thor, just how big is he? I've heard of people giving that name to a tea-cup pup too, so I guess it could go either way..haha...hope you two get your walk in before the downpour.

It looks like we have a downpour heading our way, but as Avon knows, those usually skirt above and below us here in "the basin". I hope that huge storm headed to the Georgian Bay area is a big help to the fires in that area.

Well...off to grab a coffee and breakfast.
