TGIF. Have a wonder day peeps!
Early rise this morning! Sometimes I know instantly when my eyes open that it is time to get out of bed. @Natalka I just read about your encouraging progress yesterday! That can be a building block towards a few more steps! Hope they can figure out why your pinky finger was feeling weird.
It will be a library day, planning on scouring the aisles for any new cross stitch ideas. Often when I go to the library I start out in one area and then end up taking out totally different books. Distractions!!
Speaking of distractions, our wonderful Leafs traveled the TTC to get to the Nathan Phillips outdoor practice yesterday!! What a thrill for the fans......my sister and her hubby walked there ( so nice to live close by) but I was too lazy to travel from Scarborough.
I might have a small breakfast soon....but most definitely not chowing down on this dragon's meal. yuck!

can't seem to post the cute pics I found of the Leafs on the TTC ??? grrrr!
@walkonby when I saw the news with them on the TTC . I was wishing I was there . There was some lucky riders taking a Photos with them.
Maybe I missed a post...but where be the Blue Bird? ( @GoJays )
Morning folks! Had to take a pain pill very early this morning and have slept til now. Snow on patio -wonder if there is ice under it?
It's tidy up day as there will be many showings tomorrow. I have many boxes half filled with a certain "theme" of contents. Will have to fill with, "whatever will fit " and label carefully.
"State of Emergency" declared in Chatham-Kent because of ice jams and flooding. They are bracing to see what Mother Nature has in store for them.
Tootie is being cuddly- strange. I think her experiences at our new building and then the groomer tired her out and gave her a need to seek out the familiar.
Got to get this day rolling.
See ya later!
Hi, everyone!!
WHAT a wind last night, raining ice pellets, and this morning, even poor Jenny couldn't get a foot-hold out there to piddle; whenever she tried to squat her little legs would slide out, so nope...no piddling until her daddy sprinkled sand all over her patio. Poor muffin. Lots of branches strewn about, our DD fell twice on the ice this morning, once on their front yard, all covered with ice that wouldn't "give' when she walked, so she wiped out, then in the parkinglot of her office. It's downright dangerous out there, lots of bumper-thumpers, I'm guessing.
Our GS's ski/snowboard trip is cancelled...imagine that?! :-~
So nothing on the agenda today, obviously not heading out, cabin-fever or not.
Hope you all stay safe! Have a great day!
I suggested this to the kids if they're ever bored...they plan on taking their 2 Siamese cats to camp...Hahaha!!

Good morn!
Minus 37 windchill - such a very long stretch of this deepfreeze.
Milan is moving Saturday, those poor guys...
Night was fine. It's just crazy to me that someone has to wake me up in the morning, you have no idea how odd that is!
So I got up at 8:30 - totally oblivious to all the noise which comes with shift change the hour before. My left leg was in lots of pain, and sitting didn't relieve it, but I got my meds. The physio assistant came at 9, we hadn't gotten breakfast yet, so I explained the pain meds needed a bit longer to work, so she will come back.
I spent a half hour with a bolster and pillow under my knees, to help alleviate the pain, it worked some to just relax that leg. Then I did some of the leg exercises.
Washed up, and now I am waiting for someone to put my stockings on.
Hope your Friday is Fab!
I can't believe that judge gave mcarthur just 25years!! That's only a little over 3 years PER MURDER VICTIM!!
And don't tell me he'll be dead by then: only the good die young!! Damn it!!!
So what kind of slap on the hand will bissonnette get?!
Nothing online is clear from my quick googling of the trial.. @Lynn49 , did the judge sentence him to serve the Life Sentences for Murder CONCURRENTLY?
This is all we know, @danger_dan ....from the CBC site:
Serial killer Bruce McArthur will be eligible to apply for parole after spending at least 25 years in prison for the murders of eight men in Toronto, a judge ordered on Friday.
McArthur, 67, will be 91 when his first chance at parole comes up.
In his sentencing decision, Ontario Superior Court Justice John McMahon noted the gruesomeness of McArthur's crimes, but said there is a "fine line between retribution and vengeance."
He also told the packed University Avenue courtroom that there is very little chance the former landscaper will ever be granted parole.
Lol...my DH just picked Jenny up to sit on the recliner with him, saying, "Let's watch an a show together, Jenny...do you like fish? Let's watch a fish show." SO cute! Now they're snuggled on the recliner watching a David Attenburough documentary.
All is well in birdland @danger_dan , thank you for asking :) Just haven't felt like it/haven't found anything worth posting/have been watching Homeland. Not quite binging the show but close enough.
