    13 years ago my grandfather died. His funeral was today 13 years ago. I miss him every day.

    Was there a particular memory that came to you on this anniversary, @gryphon ? When someone is memorable, you do find yourself recalling shared times or stories spent with that person-in your case, your grandfather.
