Points getting stolen? How do you keep your points secure?

I guess it's that I always have such a low balance that they don't bother with me even if they could

My PC Plus' are at the highest they've ever been (60,000 & 55,000), Optimum is pretty low (18,000~) and Air Miles is just Air Miles (only ever gotten to $20 of Cash Miles before). I would normally cash out PC for GC when I got to 20,000, but can't cash it out until they hopefully lift the GC ban or at least tell us if they are gonna lift it...

Another thought, maybe keep a large stash of points quiet. Some tricky people find ways of accessing accounts with lots of points...

I actually had optimum points stolen by an employee once. I went to do some Christmas shopping on a bonus points day (spend $75+) and was encouraged to pay at the beauty counter so I wouldn't have to wait as long in line. I handed her my card, paid and was on my way. I kept watching for my bonus points in the app and they never showed up and when I looked at my receipt I noticed it was a different optimum number! I got lucky because I had paid with a credit card that was in my name that showed on a receipt with this other optimum card and I got my points back. If I had paid cash I would have been SOL. Check your receipts!!!

You'd be surprised how many people use weak-passwords (i.e. fluffy2, lobster, etc).

My current password makes absolutely no sense, with capital letters, lower case letters, numbers, and punctuation symbols.

I treat my point accounts almost like my bank accounts so I want them to be secure from theft.
