I have never been so embarrassed in all my life as when I tried to use the Dove Hair Product $1.50 tear pad coupon at Walmart. Really in the end I suppose it was my own fault for not reading the wording closer. The product and wording on the front is for Dove Shampoo and Conditioner ANY. The wording in the smaller print on the back is for Dove Styling products 355ml.
I find this to be very very misleading. Shampoo and Conditioner (as shown on the front of the coupon) are NOT considered styling products, hair care yes, styling no.
Now I have been collecting these for care packs for the food bank, but it is my own fault for not reading the small print. I just find this to be a very misleading coupon, specially in the world of couponing wording making it hard enough to use coupons in Canada as it is.This thread is currently associated with: Walmart

My dear Panthea - you were correct. It reads: Offer valid on the purchase of a Dove Hair product (355ml and Styling products only). It is INDEED valid for shampoo and conditioner. Along with Styling products. I'd go back and try again. I hope WM isn't giving you a hard time - I had a nightmare of an issue on DEC 5th trying to PM. To the point I was in tears at the Customer Service counter. Little did the ppl who brought me to tears know that the Head Store Manager is an old client of mine. Going to have to bend his ear the next time I see him. Hope it all works out.

wording on the back says " offer valid on the purchase of a dove hair product (355 ml and styling products only). Did you have a problem trying to use the coupon on the 355ml shampoos and conditioners? If you did it was the cashier that was wrong and not you!

It was the size issue I had before we even got to the shampoo issue. I try and find coupons good for ANY size because that is what I need them for, to get things as close to free as possible since my budget is beyond tight, but I like to help others because it makes me feel like even though I am a disabled person I am giving back to the society I live in. *sigh* oh well my bad.

It seems that these days a lot of manufacturers are stating a size on there coupons, or writing that they are not good on travel sizes.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then
