Soooooo.........lots!!!!
My daughter and I made plans for her 4 year old daughter to spend the night at great grandma place, which in turn freed us to go and have some fun shopping in the middle of the night.we are night owls..hoot hoot!!
At 2 am the Superstore was all ours.......,literally...lol!! Dont think I saw another customer during the 2 hours we wandered around shopping and hunting for bargooooons!
Of course what do we do, after finding the clearance hair product and matching them up with the cpns, realising that they were indeed free, wander past the kids toys section..... big mistake.......first I notice a clearance bin for books, and find 3 thick huge sketch book size sticker books, with beautiful colour theme pages to stick them on in the books, Tinkerbell, of course have to have that...... Disney theme and another one with Toy Story and cars etc...... done!!
I then try to find where Monique has wandered off to, and drive my cart down the kids toys section.....ZOOBLES!!!
Now I am not a kids toy fanatic, but these little magnetic toys that go into a ball, then pop open when placed on their magnetic stand.....are too cute....... grandma is hooked!!
No price when I try to check in the price checker thingma bobo....arrgg!!
Go to the one person working the self checkout and ask her to find the price for all 6 boxes I found, end up with the manager discounting them to $3.99 each....yeah!!!
While I am doing my coupon thing at the self checkout, Monique finally shows up with a bunch of hamsters in her arms....not real ones silly, the ZhuZhu ones, that run around on the ground, making their cute different sounds.......ahhhhhhhhh!!
What $1.99 each you say???
Now grandma is not a happy lady, I paid at least $7.99 for the pink and purple spotted one in my to give to Sadie drawer....lol!!
So back to doing my thing at the self checkout, keeping my cpns under the $10. total, seems that $8.00 was the magic number last night!
I did a gazillion transactions, and was chatting with the supervisor as I finally realised she can over ride the cash register screaming for a supervisor because the cpns are over the $10.00 total....LMAO!!
She said she was wondering why I kept doing all these tiny transaction!!
SO finally afterwards, when Monique had already left the store I asked what the special of the week was......$ 25.00 gift certificate..hell yeah!!!
I drag all the numerous receipts out the bags that I had already knotted up and made ready to carry to the car......
she stood there patiently with her calculator and added mine and Moniques together, and announced that I only needed about $20 more.......grab the beauty binder, take my Nexus, and Nivea Pure and NAtural cpns...proceed to buy $34 dollars more, but only have to pay .68c in total......why you ask....because she kept allowing the overages........whoot!!!
Every transaction she allowed the overages, and there was $28,41 c of overages that went towards all those kids toys!!
Today I sat here and added it all up......awesome shopping trip indeed.
I saved $238.80 in sales and regular prices.
Got overages of $28,41c
Used $161.56 in cpns.
Paid $86.50 - using a $10.00 gift card from getting a prescription.
received a gift certificate for $25.00
cause all the total before cpns added up to $250.00...........
hooot , hooot!!!
Oh so the moral of this story is don't go shopping in the middle of the night as you never know what you might discover......lol!!
I plan to go back again next week!!

Great tip - midnight shopping at RCSS.
The supervisor was probably in a good mood at that time of night, rather than when the story is crazy busy.
The ZhuZhu deals was like, WOW!
