I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you. If it was not for all your post I would have never know that price match up at Maxi is so worth it and would not know that you can use a coupon even when the item is on special...
I just came back from grocery shopping, followed your advice with the list/other store flyers and coupon organisation... I went from a 240$ grocery trip to a 183$ one!

Yesterday, I just calculated the regular price of my last 9 weeks.
I have paid 33% of the regular price in those past 9 weeks.

Thanks, 2010ontest, you gave me a very good idea with your savings for the past few weeks. I don't want calculate for me, but I checked your savings and found the deal for the turkey wings at IGA. Bought the same today, one for 0.15$ and one for 0.26$. What a good saving

Awesome! It is worth it when you see how much you can save. I saved 50% this week at Maxi! But I warn the people who get in line behind me that I am price matching and have coupons.

If I can do all my stuff at Maxi I do. Although most weeks I also make coupons runs at IGA and Metro.

Congratulations to the OP for a great shopping trip. I have only been here a month and learned so much from some very special SC members.

A turkey wings, one package was with 2 wings, the other one was with one wing and one leg. Every package was with 1$ coupon peeled on it (valid in Quebec only). The price was 4.39$/kg but the packages was very small, between 300g and 400g. I bought one for 1.15$ and the other one was 1.26$. I took the coupons from the packages and gave them to the cashier
One tip for Arielmac - if you want to save even better, look at the Brag Section. Sometimes, you can find a good deals like this one
P.S. I think, that the coupon expire March 2012. Also found a small packages but without coupon (that's mean: No deal )Last edited by p4eli4ka; Fri, Dec 16th, 2011 at 09:04 PM.

Yup! it was fresh turkey wing package and fresh turkey leg package with a peelie coupon on it. Sorry tbites, I didn't scan it I used it! There is not alot of meat on those piece but this is very good to do broth or soup This week I didn't saw them anymore
But I found some package of Exceldor ground chicken at 3.00$ or so at métro tonight. Every pack have around 450g (so 1 pound, and reg price is around 5-6$) and I was having my 2$ coupon from the booklet with Lassonde soup. There was only 5 pack of chicken, I grab all and paid 5$ for 5 pound of fresh ground chicken
