Dave Brubaker, the women's national team director of Gymnastics Canada, faces multiple sex-related charges.Sarnia Police said in a statement that Brubaker was charged Friday with one count of invitation to sexual touching, three counts of sexual interference, three counts of sexual exploitation, and three counts of sexual assault.

We give our kids over to professional sports teachers, directors, then find out they're just common predators, worming their way into those professions just to take advantage of young people!! IF these accusations prove to be true, there is no punishment great enough!! Young people, children, who want to "make it" onto teams, who want to "be chosen" to play for a team, are fodder for predators; they keep quiet. They feel they can't talk to anyone about it, that no one would listen to stories about those professional coaches that everyone has on pedestals.
To take advantage of children, young people is the lowest form of humanity.

Now we're learning that a former US team gymnastics doctor just received 60 years in prison for possessing thousands (!) or images of CHILD ography and molesting girls at his campus office, his home and at a gymnastics club near Lansing, Mich., sometimes with parents in the room. (parents in the rooom??!!) at Michiga State University.

I see our 9-yr old grandson beginning to take lessons in sports and it scares me that one day he too, may become a silent victim, God forbid.
