While I will cancel before the annual fee kicks in, the key point is that Prime doesn't necessarily cost anything. And fwiw, it's $79, not $100.

Most times I get 2 day shipping when I spend $35. My last order, I made a purchase late Thursday, and delivered on Sunday.
