I read through the Terms and Conditions...there's a 98cent (US) maintenance fee every month, basically $1+ every month is lost totally not liking that. Definitely not a long term option

but there's a couple promotions on right now, the $1 trial and the Free $5 credit for the Pingo EZ dial (for cell phones) ... would only do it for the SBs and a free trial

I used a Vanilla MC - one of those prepaid cards with a few dollars on it. I figured the SBs (converted to amazon GCs) were worth more than what was on the card.

I just signed up for the pingo offer - they have a $1.00 offer which is actually a $4.00 coupon code off of a min. $5.00 purchase - in their faq it says if you cancel during the first $5.00 usage of your account, they'll refund the entire signup amount

so I should get back the dollar if I cancel, though I won't worry about it since I'm supposed to get 115 bucks for it, which is worth over $10 in amazon cards

no, I didn't get a referral code - or if I did, I didn't notice one

when I went to their site I saw something like "as low as $1.00" and at the bottom of the page it explained about the coupon code that takes $4 off of a min. $5.00 price, so that you only pay $1.00 - I think the code was "onebuck"

but you have to be sure to choose the $5.00 price, as it defaulted to a $20 card, and I had to change it

Just tell your friends to enter your email address in the “Referred by Friend” field when they sign up for Pingo.
