in addition to giving 3 of my neighbors/families 3 very large baskets of goodies including TP, PT and diapers. to which they were all in shock. my one neighbor even commented while crying that she'd never ever had used nor purchased herself brand name items like Royal or Bounty. that is was a real treat
hubby decided to treat all of his 'clients' to xmas cards with lottery tickets in them. although by the time he got around to handing them out. many were already gone home. but still his heart was in the right place.
to the OP I would have bawled had that been my husband.. how very sweet.Be Strong
Be True
Be You.
Simple as that!

I share my extra coupons ( once I use as well as ones I don't) with friends and family, or I gift them at the stores close to expiry for someone to hopefully get some use out of them. I also have a "stockroom" full of cleaning, and personal hygeniene products(as I'm sure most of us do), I did up gift baskets for family members for Christmas and whenever my mom, grandmother or MIL is visiting, they take a look and see what they need and that I have for them. I've also made a big donation of feminine products to the local women's shelter... makes me feel better helping out other people

I was in SDM on New Years eve and there was aguy buying batteries. I had a spare $5 coupon for the battery chargers and they were on for $7.99 so he got a rechargable pack that he can use over and over for about the price he would have paid for the pack he was going to get. He was thrilled and maybe it will help the environment.
I know I also played coupon fairy with some of my coupons and left some in various store beside the products. Hopefully some of them got used.
I love to share in stuff like that. It brightens someone's day.

I'm going to RAOK a few coupons that expire in the next few days - I have them taped to the inside of my mini photo album so I can stick them right on the product. I wanted to RAOK more last week but I was so busy that I missed the Dec 31st deadline.

loving the stories, great to see that all of us are using the good spirit coupon, the one that we have for free, and love to share with everyone......
Reminds me that last week, I was taking advantage of the free Gillettes deoderant to stock up with a few, when the attendant at the self checkout at Huntington Superstore asked me about the price......hes is a great well mannered, well up to snuff and very efficient worker, when ever I have dealt with him.
Probably still in high school, works part time.
I showed the cpn and that the price was free....and he was astounded, well , he should not be, as I have used many cpns with him.lol!
Anyhow, I walked up to his desk, and put a deoderant and coupon there and asked him if he was interested...his eyes lit up, and said yes, sure, would love it.
As I was leaving and was flipping thru my binders, after doing the umteenth transaction, keeping them under 10.00 in cpns so as to not need a supervisor over ride, he was standing next to me, and I passed him more of the deoderant cpns. Then he saw baby pampers cpns, and said with a big smile on his face..
I have a baby brother".........
so I took a wad of the Brandsavers and just gave them to him....so then he said, thank you maam, and I said, oh please dont call me that, so then he said Miss, and I said oh lordy, not that either..........so he turned to face me and said what is your name, and I introduced myself to him as Marie-Anne, and he stretched out his hand and said, I am Darius, nice to meet you!!
A kid with manners, melts my heart.........lol!!
Walked back to the car, and flipped thru my binders looking for more free deo cpns, ran back inside at closing, and asked for them to page for him, he had already checked out, he came running ,touque on ready to go home, and I handed him more cpns, with a stern lecure to make sure to return to work tomorrow on his day off to use them........as they were expiring.he smiled and said I sure will........
then ran off to get in the car that was there to pick him up.
Me thinks I have made a new friend at that Superstore........lol!!
Will keep and eye on what ever cpns I have to pass onto him.
Manners makith man!!!http://www.facebook.com/groups/29636...6361680429066/

Today at RCSS, the traditional medicinal herbal teas were on sale. I saw a man and woman studying the price, studying the boxes, and think about the product. I picked up a pack for myself and offered them $1.00 coupon from the Natural Value magazine.
They asked a lot of questions about the coupon - guess they didn't trust me
. When I showed them that the coupon did not expire, they were thrilled and thanked me.

A small pay it forward moment, at WM today and after picking up DH and my prescriptions, I have get in line to buy just 3 things, soooo many lineups, and the 16 or less line is the longest.
Anyways I have time to notice the shopper ahead of me had a loaf of Dempster's
bread with the little Toaster/Egg appliance with a pin code, so I ask her " how much is the bread ?" Oh it's stupid, almost $3.00, but I need it. So I dig for my SDM flyer, and ask her would you like to price match and pay only $1.79? Eeks! yes she does.
Then we chat some more, and I say are you getting that toaster thing, she says no way too much bother, and I politely ask if I may have the sticker, as I am not getting it either but collecting the pins for another.
Np, she peels it right off.
Someone on sc is getting the pins I collect.....all in due time my precious , all in due time
hee hee

Went to PetSmart today because we needed to pick up cat litter. The lady in front of me said " I have a coupon for that, would you like it". Of course I say sure ( I didn't have any cat litter coupons). Imagine my surprise when it was for free litter. I told her and her husband how awesome that was and we wished each other a Happy New Year.
Obviously they did not know that I had spent the day at the hospital with my dad & was having a tough day. They definitely made me smile. I'm sure she was a SC

To be generous it takes a very big heart, it does not need to be a very big gesture, but sometimes the smallest of kind gestures are the biggest of all!!
Loving reading all these stories!!http://www.facebook.com/groups/29636...6361680429066/
