I love this thread, holly!!

I always carry my coupon book in my purse so I have left mystery coupons near products they could be used for. Not as giving as putting together hampers but its a start. There are a lot of people who don't have access to the Internet and often miss good ways to save money. Makes me feel good

Thats fabulous. It's really nice to share coupons with others especially when you know you are not going to use them.

It doesn't matter what we do to help others, whether it's leaving coupons by products, give a loaf of bread or lots of things. I find that each little bit helps and we can all do something to help a person in our community. It doesn't have to cost any money at all, I am so happy that you share with others. Keep up the great work. You are such a great person.

Last spring we renovated our kitchen. We put in new hardwood and our contractor gave use a $50 gift certificate from the store he bought the hardwood. I checked the expiry date recently and found it was 12/31/11. So I went to the stoe on the 29th to see if I coould find something. Well nothing was really jumping out at me because the store was mostly flooring and the stuff you need for doing it. Well, I saw a young man with his son pushing his cart looking at some merchandise so I walked up to him and asked if he was going to spend $50 today. He said, "Probably," so I gave him the certificate and wished him a happy new year. He was very surprised and thanked me with a big smile.
