Hi i have tried to set it eqrn only but cannot find it
I redeem whenever I have $20 as I don't trust the system and find customer service to be annoying. I hope it gets resolved.
This is why I spend it often instead of saving my points.
Sorry this happened to you and I hope you get your points back soon
i'm one who likes to let them collect.. i have a hard time nickel and diming them away on regular purchases.. i try to save up for something big or since they are usable at the superstore this year possibly christmas gifts (they have a fair toy selection especially at christmas time)
Anyone that has changed to 'save points only' and then switched back in order to spend them.........I'm assuming it happens automatically and there's no problem accessing your points ?
Ugh, sorry this happened to you .... I had the same thing when it was PC Plus. I live in BC and my points were spent n Quebec. I have to say when I got through to customer services, they were really good and very efficient at sorting it out. I had my points back in 3-4 days.
I know this won't help you now, but you can log into PC Optimum on a desktop and set all your cards to collect only. I have done that for all except my PC Financial CC ... if I want to redeem, it is the only card that I can redeem on. I also go into my account regularly and check the cards that are linked, if I don't recognize on, I remove it (last time someone added a card to my account to spend the points).
Is it possible to set the card status via desktop now? I seem to have my setting stuck on Earn pts only when I last really looked in June around the time I decided not to continue using the card (but did change my password but forgot it). The setting for PC Plus never changed to allow the user to change the card setting while I was using the card but I think those of you with the apps on your phones can change your settings?
@redhdlois I've switched back and forth between the two with no problem at all being able to access and redeem points.
This is why I think PC cards should have pin # to redeem points.
