Do not know exactly but it is usually quick. I did my $20 redemption on Nov 20. I could see 1 AM is posted but no 40 AM bonus for redemption yet...

I know it does for Sobeys but I am not sure I would risk it and then miss out on the STD reward.
I don’t have a Foodland close but my mom does and I am at her place next weekend so will do my shopping there because I am trying am to give myself a cushion.

Guys, if you aren't sure of whether something qualifies or not, do a live chat with Air Miles. Then copy/paste the answer into an email to yourself for proof.

This STB is harder this year with less options but I did a chart to see my best options. (Note: In BC)
NOTE: This is my own graph - please check STB Airmiles before planning your purchases. Thanks
    Retailer Transaction Dates AM COST
    1 Amex 25 transactions 15-Nov 15-Dec 5 $ 0
    2 Shell Fill Up 15-Nov 27-Dec 5 $ 50,00
    2 Shell $10 in store 15-Nov 27-Dec
    3 Rexall $40 Spend 03-Dec 13-Dec 20 $ 40.00
    4 Amazon.ca $100 15-Nov 27-Dec 50 $ 100.00
    5 Childrens Place $55 online or instore 26-Nov 09-Dec 15 $ 60.00
    6 BMO 25 transactions 15-Nov 27-Dec 5 $ 0
    7 Thrifty Foods Spend $65 06-Dec 12-Dec 75 $ 65.00
    8 Safeway $10 spend $100 06-Dec 12-Dec 100 $ 100.00
    9 Staples Spend $100 01-Dec 24-Dec 25 $ 100.00
    10 Iris Spend $100 15-Nov 27-Dec 100 $ 100.00

My plan would be to do 1-7
    Total Spent $265
    Receive 175 AM
    STB Bonus 2000AM
    Total 2175 AM
    = 228.95

    OOP 36.05

Of these I can use BMO and AMEX for daily purchases.
Shell is gas I need anyway
Amazon.ca - Christmas Gifts (Question: Can I use a GC towards this purchase?)
    Rexall - Everyday household items
Children's Place - Expensive. I usually thrift for my kids clothes. But could be some Christmas Items
Thrifty Foods - I have to drive to get to one of these but it's either spend $65 here or $100 at Safeway down the road. AND Safeway is SOOO Expensive. I do not know what I would buy there for $100. open to suggestions though.

Well I did my Foodland shop was difficult to do since there prices are very high. Yes FPC counts as cash. But I was limited because the do not carry most of the products I was looking for. Since the drive was 30min I bought stuff to do the spent $60. Paid with my BOM card. Just need 3 more shops to get to 25 transaction

Each merchant can only be counted once this year, so you can do both Shell offers, but only 1 will count toward the 7 needed to get 2000 AM back.

When you are talking Amazon do you mean Amazon through AirMilesShop?
Yes, you can use a GC for the Amazon order.

Felt a bit like a weirdo today at WM....I usually avoid the self checkouts totally. BUT, at least I could stand there holding no one up at all behind me because they have at least a dozen of these at the checkout.
I did 14 separate transactions between $1.00 and $5.00 and used my Amex to pay for them all.....now I am THAT much closer to having the required 25 purchases needed to qualify for the STB offer.

I discovered today that at Shell I could still use the coupon to earn 5 BAM with each 25 L fill 3 more times, even though the first one was the only one that qualifies for the STB offer.
