My brag is that I am blessed to know two great individuals who have helped me provide some university students with 'emergency food packs' at my office.

With their help we have put together packs that students can pick up without food bank registration and drama.. grab one on their way out of the office.. fits in their backpacks.. no judgement or red tape.

I know @johnb56789 has been aware of food insecurity with post-secondary students for a few years. I didn't realize how bad it was until recently. On a small scale we are doing what we can. I look forward to implementing projects in the future with him.
@MillieH helped me out a few weeks ago when I needed some supplies and I couldn't afford them. She didn't even hesitate to help. I was saying to John that for years she has been one of the most helpful and supportive members of this community. I hope if we set up couponing seminars for students that she will come and kick their a$$ as she has kicked mine on occasion.

I haven't figured out the solution for food insecurity issue yet.. but thank you both for supporting the students with what we can in the meantime.
