Well I've been doing recycle walks almost weekly (for excercise as well as to find ???) usually I get a few items but this morning (5:15am-6:00am) I think I scored HUGE --
25 Current P&G
18 Smart Source (whoo hoo Glade sense & sprays here I come LOL)
15 "Pet" savings booklet
3X FREE yogurt
24 I-Coke Pins (REALLY addicted to collecting these now)
2X $4 Ground beef
3X $4 Chicken
10 Stouffers Pins (entering these today YEAH)
2X Janes boxes (with ALL the coupons)
10X Burger king coupons (Hubby loves the "angry tendercrisp) LOL
2X McDonalds Crave booklet - I love the 2 can dine for $5.98 breakfast
a HUGE stack of magazines aprox 20+ (Canadian & US) haven't looked through these yet -- hope some coupons but otherwise GREAT reading material.
10+ Consumer report magazines -- My hubby likes to read these
a 16 month "TWILIGHT" Eclipse calander -GOOD for ALL of 2012 as well
(Plus who doesn't like looking at Jacob & Edward LOL)
2011 Milk Calender AWESOME recipes in it --
2X Kids DVDS -- "toy Story 3 & Mr. Magoriums Magic Emporium?" haven't checked if they work yet
Overall I am quite happy with what I scored this morning -- and this was all just going literally around the block
Oh and as for the "excercise" part of it -- I've lost almost 30pds since June

It's crazy what people throw out. We found 2 perfectly working digital cameras once.
Great find Javamama!

That is AWESOME! I swear, I'm gonna drive into Ottawa one of these days and do a recycle walk there- not much to find when there are only 5 houses on your road

Is it sad that I got the most excited over the Twilight calendar when I read it? lol

holy crap java well done.. I did quite well as well. i swear ppl didn't even look at their flyers this week. just threw them in the cycle as they put out their garbage. it was crazy.. however a little too cold last night to keep going. im hoping once its warmer to start venturing a little farther like you 'around the corner'.
