This makes me laugh every week. Buying a single or the smallest weight or size of an item to earn what I call " cheesy Air Miles "
I know most wouldn't bother but I get a kick out of earning 3 AM on a .44 cent carrot. My total with other groceries came to $22.33
so I redeemed 190 AM to get $20.00 off. Out of pocket was $2.33, and I earned 11 AM.

Actually, Air Miles now gives you miles for items purchased at any retailer.
Each month the items change - example, this month I have cucumbers, potatoes, cheese, waffles, etc on my list. I purchased waffles at Maxi, Cucumbers and potatoes at Metro. I uploaded my receipts on the app and earned 25 miles.

@walkonby good for you. I rarely shop at places to collect air miles.

What a beautiful throw back story for these two! Times have changed and thankfully for them their love endured!






These 2 men were contestants on the older version of the Supermarket Sweep show. ( Lesley Jones hosted the newer version ) .
A viewer was watching an old clip of them on that show and seemed to doubt that these 2 men were “ business partners ” who “ design sets for plays commenting
" oh I’m sure " ....insinuating they had a romantic relationship. He posted this online in current times and the clip went viral.

One of the fellows ( Tom ) was alerted through FB that this clip was out there and some had asked " where are they now " so he posted their current status.

There's a chance that my guys can get next week off work " with permission ". They receive no pay of course but sometimes when things are slow at their place there's a voluntary option for any takers to grab some R & R. I support them in this choice, we'll just tighten the belts a bit more. No shopping, make meals from the stockpiles in freezer/fridge and cupboards. We should hear soon!
