I went down to my local Shoppers today as I was running low on eggs and milk and they usually have the best price in my area. I was thrilled to find eggs marked down to .29 cents a dozen and milk down to $1.05 for four litres!! Granted it was due to expire within a few days but I am sure we can use it all up. Imagine 8 litres of milk and 2 dozen eggs for 2.68!!

OMG what a great deal I go thru a 4L milk with my toddlers in a day and a half!

That's a great brag.I have bought milk close to date too and it was still good a couple of days past the best before date and if you want to check how fresh the eggs are put them in a bowl of cold water if they sink they are fresh and if they float they are bad.
