Thread: Mission Accomplished !!
-
Mon, Jan 16th, 2012, 02:04 PM #1
Back in September i just couldnt stop the toilet paper deals from coming so of course i stocked up. with a DH ,4 teenagers and my own home daycare we really go through alot.
so, i decided to set a goal for myself. stockpile enough t.p for the entire 2012 year by the end of 2011.
my house has 3.5 bathrooms and by my calculations i would need 700 (!!!) rolls in order for me to not have to buy any for the whole year.of course my family thought i was losing my mind but i like a challenge.
well, mission accomplished ! as of january 2 2012 i have 962 rolls of t.p neatly stacked against the back wall of my garage. i never paid more than $2 a pack and i have every brand imaginable. its amazing how DH thinks i have lost my marbles until he can so comveniently step into the garage and get t.p, cookies, deodorant etc without having to leave the house. i remind him how lucky he is when all it takes to please me is a nice neat wall of toilet paper. HAHA now if spends some of that saved money on a nice Valentines dinner i will be even happierThis thread is currently associated with: Garage

I want to see a pic too! I think I must be the only one who doesn't have a stash of toilet paper...I have everything but that! For some reason I never see to be able to find enough good sales/coupons and then end up buying a pack at Costco because I figure if I'm going to pay full price they might as well at least be individually wrapped to keep the kids from unwrapping them or getting them wet!

Nope, youre not the only one... I have approx 20 rolls in the house right now (that's spread thru 3 bathrooms). Not what i'd call a stockpile AT ALL! I'm so jealous of people with great stocks of useful things like TP that never go bad!
OP: Care to share some of your tp tips and tricks? The best deals i usually find are 4.99 royale at SDM and i use a $1 coupon, still paying 3.99/pk. what do you do?? Great brag, btw. Mega-jealous!

pictures! pictures!
I would kill to have enough room in my house for that! Tell us your tricks! I only have enough for 2 months worth.
For those who have trouble finding good TP coupons, Majesta has a $1 off coupon (they have pretty cheap TP) and for a while Cottenelle had an AMAZING $2 off tear pad coupon, Cottenelle is often onsale for $4.00.

That is absolutely fabulous!!! I always get the "honey! I'm going to the store..." as my hubby is on his way to the basement to get things. He gladly will run down to grab t.p, paper towels, etc. now without the groan I used to get when he used to have to actually leave the house and spend money on these essentials. WTG on the full year of t.p. I'm working on ours. can't wait to see a pic
