The rep button is for leaving a comment that makes people feel good, to have a chuckle or to say "I understand how you feel." How many people have you rep'ed today?

Don't forget, you have to share the love before repping the same person again but if your rep is not post related, keep it to people in the games room or make it related to their post as some members do not appreciate random reps just so you can rep a friend again

I haven't heard this at all, about some people not liking reps.
Hoping they will make it known to us if they don't like getting them.

Some people just don't like the notifications for something that doesn't say anything. In one case, the complaint was when someone basically said "just repping you randomly so I can rep a friend again". Personally, I get a load of notifications on SC so it doesn't bother me, but others find them annoying when it is not directed at them and just random/a waste of their time

In some cases they read some passive aggressiveness into quotes in reps when the person repping is rarely out of the games room and most likely didn't know they have crap going on in their lives
