"Glean Canada" is a site where people can submit listings of their excess fruit and vegetables. A description of the site's purpose and how listings work is on the main page.

Hoping this idea takes off! It's always a shame when good food goes to waste.

There is also an organization in Nova Scotia called, "FOUND" that accepts and distributes donations of excess fruit and produce. I posted about it in the Halifax section (relevant links can be found there).
