While you were at Metro, I was at Food Basics (north Ajax) and a cute meat guy brought out the Maple Leaf Prime chicken with 30% off AND rip and stick discounts too. I paid $5 for $10.00 worth of chicken. It's in the slow cooker right now.

Was in Ajax for an appointment and the Metro trip was not planned.
The chicken was good.
Thanks for the tip about that Food Basics.
Now we have a choice between the "north" FB by McLean Community Centre and the "south" FB at the Harwood Mall.

Hmmm. The cashier at a Metro in Durham Region told me it was o.k. to use the Metro coupon with a manufacturer coupon, and allowed my purchase. She even asked her customer service rep. This was back in November, I think. I hope she told me the right thing.
