This year, just buy when you see something you like and you have the money in your wallet/room for your debit/credit purchase. Some stock seems to be priced to move about three days before Halloween. The day after Halloween, don't expect to see piles of product. Some stores sell only certain size boxes of brand name candies or chocolates. Any store carrying club packs of treats--once they sell out, good luck finding them again. Make sure whatever you buy, you'd eat if it's left over. Two years ago, I tried some treats from the Nature's Health section that I had discovered and found I did not like them (taste matters). THink I scrambled to find a brand name treat to make up for that purchase error about a week before Halloween!

Right now, I've seen Frito Lay variety packs (20ct) of chips selling for 7.99 - 8.99 in grocery stores. If you are a Tasty Rewards member, you can print a $2 coupon that applies to variety packs over 18 units. But that coupon does not apply to Smartfood Popcorn variety packs (10 count), which was on sale two weeks ago at Longos for $4.99. Regular price is about $5.99 or just over $6.

At Loblaws they had signs posted for 10000 pts for every $20 spent on Mars variety minis and Skittles/starburst boxed minis..**Oct 13-14**

Maxi and cie have this week a 10 000 pc points wub 20$ in nestle chocolate..But I am well stocked so I will only buy if stores have crazy good clearance deals. lol

I needed to stop at my local Walmart on Friday and checked for Halloween discounts. They had already marked everything 50% off, but there was no chocolate or chips remaining, just some decorations. I guess because trick or treating was ‘stopped’ in our area this year, they didn’t stock the usual amount.
