Basement Reno Brag

I havent done a brag like this before, and so I thought that since we have just finished with our basement renovation that I would show you guys what the final transformation looks like.
It was all thanks to the savings that we have acquired from couponing and smart shopping within less than a year that we were able to complete this. My fiance and I bought this house exactly a year ago this month, and starter planning the renovation in July, but the real work didnt start until the weekend after Labour Day. All of our weekends and evenings we devoted to this reno, and since we are a young couple within our first home, it was a huge learning curve (no kids yet!). But we thought, this is our started home that we will be living in for the next couple of years and so fixing up this little two bedroom semi-detached home would be a great project and will allow us to really profit when we sell the home (since we purchased it for such a cheap price).The total time of the project: 4 months; the total cost of the project (not including furnishings and decor): $3600. Enjoy!!
NOTE: The pics are taken as before followed by after of the same area (as close as possible!)
****NOTE: Some were wondering on the colour of the walls. I bought the paint at Dulux Paint and its called "Apple Grove" code 50GY 57/096

The way I see the room in the photos is that the stairs got sectioned off by the wall with the single white door and the double doors lead to the laundry/stock pile room that we see in the pre-reno photos.

I hope that's right, lol!
