I went to no frills yesterday to purchase the oral b thoothbrush that they were for $1.88 so i pick 2 but when I went to pay I gave the cashier my 2 coupons and 2 toothbrush and she was was reading the coupon but when she scanned it was for .99 cent so she told me you can use the coupon because the coupons says $1.00 off and they were under a $1 but I told her it ok so I take my coupons back

I read it that the cashier wouldn't allow her to use the coupons because they were higher value than the item.

no I did not use my coupons because they were .99 cents and the coupons were higher then toothbrush

the cashier was incorrect. You could have used the coupon, and got it for free.

I got three. My mom gave me her coupons. If a cashier ever gives you trouble just ask to speak to the Manager.

If anything, most stores who don't do coupons that are higher than the item price, they usually adjust the coupon price.....in this case, she should of adjusted the coupon to .99c if that's their store policy.
