My dh gave me (us) tickets to a ballet on Feb. 16 for my birthday which just passed - so..... I think we'll count that as a Valentine's outing. I'll buy him a card and hide some little glass/stone hearts under his pillow - we do that every now and then just to say, "I love you!"
I'll decorate the dining room with red/white accents and maybe make a centrepiece of red and white glass pellets around a candle.

We are leaving for a cruise that week, so nothing -- but we don't celebrate V-day.... I dunno....it's kinda commercially for me and a little too "forced" if that makes sense. We'll probably do our usual date night the weekend before

Having said that, most of our friends celebrate it with the normal dinner, flowers, chocolates, Teddy bears, and jewelry, etc.

We have Jets tickets that day, so that's our plan. If we do do a dinner, it's usually earlier in the day, like 3pm when restaurants arent so crazy. or we cook something at home. no gifts or anything usually.

My hubby probably will be on the road for Valentines day...so on that day nothing. However we did agree one day when he was home to have a date night with coupons! I got 2 free movie tickets from Lean Cuisine and we are going to use the movie snack ones from the Old El Paso boxes. Gramma is even babysitting!

My dh is a romantic guy and usually comes up with something really nice. We don't go out for dinner,as I make one of his favorite meals and we either watch a movie or have a hot tub and wine. The last few years,I find a nice piece of jewellery on my pillow
I guess we are a traditional couple

Nothing out of the ordinary here! Like alot of posters here we really don't celebrate Valentines Day, it truly is just another day. We've been through alot together and we realize that the need and desire to show eachother how we feel should be expressed every day in every way and not just a specific day.

I'm thinking about ordering take out! Restaurants are way too busy and I'm just not down with Valentines Day set meals and stuff. lol
I'll probably bake something delish and make vegan crepes too
As long as I get to spend the day with the bf, I'm a happy girl! Doesn't really matter where we go.
