I live in Edmonton. I didn't think that stores here are out of TP yet. I did go to Loblaws, the only store in Edmonton for some deal on Purex TP, and spongetowels yesterday. I was only able to get 2 x $1 coupon for Purex TP so I only planned to buy 2. The store had signs saying 2 per customer per day on paper products. The cashier told me i can come back tomorrow to buy more but I said no thanks because i don't need TP, i just want a couple for points plus i don't want to drive 30mins here. The store had a large amount of TP but i'm sure they'd be gone by the end of the day. I did get to the store at 8am - an hour after they opened.

In Thunder Bay it has been mayhem. I don't get why tho! Does everyone have nothing in their homes? There has been runs on toilet paper (there is none today) and bottled water, fresh meat, frozen goods (pizza, etc.) Interestingly, not on cleaning products! Hmmmm. The mob mentality has taken over.

I'm in a small city (~11,000) in northern BC. All the grocery stores, Canadian Tire, drug stores, etc. have been almost completely picked clean of toilet paper. People seem to be buying more canned goods (and, of course, hand sanitizer
) than usual, but it is the paper product aisles that are bare. It is absurd. Almost everyone shakes their head and jokes about it...so many people that some of them are clearly not admitting that they are among the TP panic shoppers/hoarders! I feel for anyone who genuinely just needs to buy a package or two, because there is almost none of it in the stores these days.

In my city toilet paper is sparse may come and go quickly. I have suggested for people to buy at the convenience store if need be. Checked a store near me and I found the prices reasonable for that type of store.
4pk April Soft $1.99
12=24 Cashmere $7.99
Also, had varieties of Cashmere 8=16 and another. If you are that desperate go and get some! Of course everyone wants to check the big brand stores. Also, for things like diapers and wipes.
Have not found Sanitizer or wipes but Dollarama had some tissues, and double rolls of paper towels.
Thank goodness I have all of these things. Didn't have to join the crazy train!
It will be nuts on Fri though I bet when others come to shop who weren't able to before!

@Shwa Girl I feel kind of nauseous after watching a few of those extreme cheapskates episodes.
Part of me wants to applaud them for sticking it to the man or the system or whatever but I have to ask.....
how the F does one wipe their backside with a single page of newspaper?
