    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE practise social distancing!!! And encourage your friends and family to do the same. It is VERY important to prevent the spread of covid-19. Listen to Public Health, and do what they tell you to. You're helping to reduce the strain on the health care system when you do. PLEASE. (I am one of the people with a compromised immune system, and it terrifies me to be starting chemo soon, not knowing if others will do their part to contain this virus -- and, it's not like I can just delay the chemo, either). STAY SAFE, people. Treat this rationally, be logical...don't panic! Respect each other, and be kind to yourselves, and others. Thank you.

    Created an account just to say thanks for your hard work. And I hope people will take your words to heart. I am supposed to go in for cancer surgery in 2.5 weeks. If people can stay inside and help contain the virus it will go ahead as planned. If the virus is overwhelming the health care system my surgery will be cancelled.

    Thanks OP. The hospitals have COVID-19 assessment centers outside of the ERs, I think.
    Your appointment should be o.k. if the staff have not been reassigned. Please call before your appointment just in case they changed the date.
